This is a big katakuchi bachi(lipped bowl). This piece has strong and primitive atmosphere.
Spout part is carved out, and we can enjoy both rokuro lines and rough chisel's marks. Of course beyond urushi coat, interesting zelkova grains can be seen.
Signiture of Watanabe san is painted in the bottom.
You can use it freely, for examples as sake pitcher, flower vase, big bowl and so on.
